Helix Sleep offers hybrid mattresses manufactured with polyfoam comfort systems, dual-layer covers, and pocketed coil support cores enhanced with polyfoam base layers. Helix Sleep Revenue
Helix Sleep offers complete mattress customization. Buyers are urged to fill out a survey that discusses their weight, height, sleep position, firmness preferences, and other factors. Based on these results, Helix Sleep will suggest one of the following six mattress variants; each respective option gives a unique combination of firmness and support:
- Helix Sunset: ‘Soft’ firmness, targeted cushioning, and balanced support
- Helix Moonlight: ‘Soft’ firmness, moderate cushioning, and extra support
- Helix Midnight: ‘Medium’ firmness, targeted cushioning, and balanced support
- Helix Dusk: ‘Medium’ firmness, moderate cushioning, and additional support
- Helix Twilight: ‘Firm’ firmness, targeted cushioning, and balanced support
- Helix Dawn: ‘Firm’ firmness, moderate cushioning, and additional support
Helix Sleep hybrids that have targeted cushioning conform closely, making them ideal for those who sleep on their side. While mattresses with moderate cushioning don’t conform as much and are suitable for pretty much all sleep positions. Lighter people may feel more comfortable on models with balanced support, while people who weigh 130 pounds or more tend to favor the models with additional support.
Helix Sleep also offers 2 models with dual-firmness, the Helix Dual Balanced (with targeted cushioning and balanced support) and the Helix Dual Extra (with extra support and moderate cushioning). Both of these mattresses have one ‘Soft’ side and one ‘Firm’ side, making them suitable for couples with differing preferences. Last, the Helix Nightfall is a hybrid developed for bigger, heavier people. This mattress has an additional layer of memory foam for optimum support.
My review of Helix Sleep mattresses found that the customizable aspect conforms to sleepers with a wide range of body types and firmness preferences. The mattresses also provide strong edge support, isolate movement nicely, and produce less noise than the normal hybrid. Helix Sleep Revenue

Construction Helix Sleep Revenue
All nine of the different iterations of the mattress will differ slightly in construction, but for 6 of the 9 models, the construction will be fairly similar. The six core variants (listed above) are 10 inches tall, made up of 6 inches of individually wrapped coils and 4 inches of foam.
Helix mattresses differ in density and firmness depending on the foams used in order to attain more/less support and more/less firmness. The 4 unique foams utilized within Helix mattresses are memory foam, high-grade polyurethane foam, Helix Dynamic Foam, and a DuraDense Foam (aka support foam). Not all the mattresses have all of the foams – some just have three of the four – but it really won’t matter much for the buyer. The foams are merely levers that Helix Sleep can pull in order to offer 9 different versions (and hopefully have a model for everybody). Helix Sleep Revenue
Below, I concisely talk about the construction (materials and quality) of your average Helix mattress, the Helix Midnight.
Cover – Originally, all Helix mattresses come with exactly the same cover, made of 100% polyester. I found it to be pliable and thin, allowing for some great breathability. But, if you want something more luxurious, you can choose to swap out the standard cover for the UltraCool one, which is made up of a phase-change fabric for heat regulation.
Comfort Layer – Up top, you will discover a thick layer of memory foam. This type of foam has a slow reaction to pressure, which means you are likely to experience some satisfying body shaping. Even though it may seem strange for a supposedly medium firmness mattress to feature a memory foam comfort layer, it’s crucial to remember that the existence of deep sinkage does not necessarily translate to softness; in actuality, most of the time it produces quite a firm feel.
Transition Layer – After getting past the memory foam comfort layer, you’ll uncover a transition layer of poly foam. This layer of foam works to suppress the sinkage of the memory foam and create a supportive, medium firm feel as you hit the individually wrapped coils below.
Support Layer – Most of the mattress consists of this segment of pocketed coils. This system brings a supportive lift to the construction, working to place the sleeper “on top” of the bed, instead of “in it”. Because the coils are individually wrapped, they’re also going to allow extra breathability as air flows in between the spaces in the coils.
Base Layer – Last but not least, you’ll find a thin segment of high-density poly foam. This segment does not affect the feel of the bed too much, working mostly to give the individually wrapped coils something off of which to react.
Firmness and Support
After having a peek at the construction of the Helix mattresses, let us discuss their varying feels and firmness levels.
The firmness level of the Helix will differ widely depending on the model you choose. The Helix Dusk and Midnight, have medium firmness levels, which tends to be very versatile and thus exceptionally popular. If you are more particular, however, Helix Sleep is happy to oblige you with additional choices.
Lying down on the Midnight, the uppermost foam layer is soft and produces some quality body shaping, while the rest of the materials within the Midnight work to counteract this and make an overall firmer composition. The firmer support foams and pocketed coils also help with re-positioning.
For those who sleep on their back, there’s just enough good comfort material in the mattress to conform to your lower spine while supporting your upper spine in a neutral position. For heavier sleepers or people who prefer a firmer bed, there are two more choices for you in the Helix Twilight and Helix Dawn models.
Majority of side sleepers will feel totally comfy on the Midnight, but, if you are wanting a bit less pressure while still going with a flexible medium firmness, you may want to check out the Helix Dusk, which utilizes a body-conforming latex-alternative foam that is breathable and provides the surface a little bit of bounce.
Side sleepers typically have to be more mindful of pressure since they sleep with all their weight on a tinier region. People who are smaller than average or those looking for plenty of pressure relief may want to stick to the plusher variants.
Those who sleep on their stomach will feel comfortable in the Midnight, especially if this isn’t their main position or they have a tendency to change things up a lot. Firmer mattresses may be preferable for exclusive tummy sleepers so they can ensure their hips do not dip and over-arch their back.
Last, Helix Sleep recommends Helix mattresses for sleepers around 350 lbs or couples that weigh up to 250 lbs each. If you or your spouse are significantly larger than average, Helix has also created a mattress called the Nightfall that’s created to accommodate a total weight of 1000 lbs.
Partners with different types of bodies or preferences may also select a dual comfort option that pairs Firm with Plush.
Keep in mind that if neither of those models sound quite right, you could always have a look at the four other beds in the newest collection: the Sunset (plush, softer compared to the Moonlight), Dusk (medium feel, a little firmer compared to the Midnight), Twilight (firm, designed for side sleepers), or Dawn (the firmest variant of the bunch).
Next up, let’s chat about motion transfer, or the amount of disturbance that is noticeable from 1 side of the bed to the other. While this will be important for many buyers, those who sleep with a partner may find it especially interesting as it’ll illuminate just how bothered you may be by your partner’s nighttime movements. Helix Sleep Revenue
Based on my observation, Helix surpasses expectations for hybrids in this space due to the amount and quality of foam it incorporates, as well as the individually wrapped coils that help keep motion at its source. If you are a light sleeper concerned that motion from the other side of the mattress will bother you, you should not have much concern with this hybrid. I would say that all of the Helix mattresses are a good choice for couples.
When buying a brand-new mattress, the majority of men and women wish to know whether they’ll feel like they’re sinking “into” the it or laying “on top” of it.
While you are likely to experience some immediate sinkage from the soft foam on top, when you sink through those layers, you’ll hit the pocketed coils and experience fantastic support. This combo will interest a wide assortment of sleepers, but will suit stomach and back sleepers in particular.
Though I do feel the memory foam compress as I sit close to the edge of the bed, the pocketed coils prevent the mattress from collapsing too much beyond that. I feel very secured sitting on the bed.
In my view, Helix mattresses perform above average for edge support compared to other bed-in-a-box brands, which is because of their newly updated edges containing reinforcement in the coil unit. There can be a little compression at the comfort foams when you sit with all your weight on the side, but lying on the side should feel comfortable and safe. Partners who need more space to stretch out normally love strong edges.
Laying down, I feel like I could get close to the edge of the bed without feeling like I will fall over or be pushed off the bed. Overall, I think that the Helix has great edge support.
100 Night Sleep Trial
Among the best features of purchasing a mattress-in-a-box online is the sleep trials they usually come with. Helix Sleep is not any different. You customize the mattress that is meant for you, place your order, and within 2 weeks, it is sent to your home. From the minute you click to order the mattress, you have 100 nights to test it out (minus the time for delivery, so it’s more like 90 nights). If it is not perfect, you can return it for free, and get a full refund.
If you do return the mattress, it is not resold or restocked. In fact, Helix locates a local place to donate it. When there is no way Helix Sleep can find a way to donate your returned mattress, it is recycled instead. Helix Sleep Revenue
Helix offers a generous 10-year warranty that covers flaws, but it comes with some limitations, exceptions, plus the burden of proof is on the consumer (like most warranties). Needless to say, you must be the original owner of the Helix to make use of the guarantee, and you will need to be sure you keep your receipt as proof of purchase.
Provided that you follow all of Helix’s expectations for use, your warranty is valid. That means you need to use a suitable base (no adjustable bed frames or slats more than 4 inches apart) and that you don’t use the mattress improperly – no jumping on the bed!
If your Helix begins to show an indentation of 1 inch or longer, which is what usually happens when low-density foams break down, then you could be eligible for a repair or replacement of your mattress.

What’s The Best Way To Care For Your Helix?
Helix mattresses need no flipping, but it’s recommended that you rotate the mattress perhaps a couple of times a year to keep it from wearing down from excessive sagging.
For regular cleaning, it is advised to use cool water with gentle dish detergent to clean any stains or dirt. Make sure that you clean using soft circular movements, rather than rubbing.
