Helix Sleep sells hybrid mattresses made using polyfoam comfort systems, dual-layer covers, and pocketed coil support cores fortified with polyfoam base layers. Helix Singapore
Helix Sleep allows full mattress customization. Customers are requested to complete a survey that discusses their weight, height, sleep position, firmness preferences, and other options. Based on these answers, Helix Sleep will recommend one of the following six mattress models; each respective model provides a one-of-a-kind combination of firmness and support:
- Helix Sunset: ‘Soft’ firmness, targeted cushioning, and balanced support
- Helix Moonlight: ‘Soft’ firmness, moderate cushioning, and additional support
- Helix Midnight: ‘Medium’ firmness, targeted cushioning, and balanced support
- Helix Dusk: ‘Medium’ firmness, moderate cushioning, and additional support
- Helix Twilight: ‘Firm’ firmness, targeted cushioning, and balanced support
- Helix Dawn: ‘Firm’ firmness, moderate cushioning, and extra support
Helix Sleep hybrids that have targeted cushioning conform closely, making them optimal for those who sleep on their side. While those that have moderate cushioning don’t conform as much and are suitable for all sleep positions. Lighter men and women may feel most comfy on models with balanced support, while those who weigh 130 lbs or more often favor the variants with extra support.
Helix Sleep also markets two models with dual-firmness, the Helix Dual Balanced (with balanced support and targeted cushioning) and the Helix Dual Extra (with moderate cushioning and additional support). Both these variants have one ‘Firm’ side and one ‘Soft’ side, making them suitable for couples with different preferences. Last, the Helix Nightfall is a hybrid developed for bigger, heavier individuals. This model has an additional layer of memory foam for maximum support.
My review of Helix Sleep mattresses discovered that the customizable aspect accommodates sleepers with a wide assortment of firmness preferences and body types. The mattresses also have strong edge support, isolate movement well, and produce less noise than the average hybrid. Helix Singapore

Construction Helix Singapore
All nine of the various iterations of this mattress will differ slightly in construction, but for 6 of the 9 models, the construction should be rather similar. The six core models (listed above) are 10 inches tall, made up of 6 inches of pocketed coils and 4 inches of foam.
Helix mattresses vary in firmness and density depending upon the foams utilized in order to achieve more/less support and more/less firmness. The 4 unique foams utilized within Helix mattresses are high-grade polyurethane foam, memory foam, Helix Dynamic Foam, and a DuraDense Foam (aka support foam). Not all the variants have all of the foams – some only have 3 of the 4 – but it really shouldn’t matter much for the purchaser. The foams are merely levers that Helix Sleep can pull in order to offer 9 unique mattresses (and hopefully have a model for everyone). Helix Singapore
Below, I briefly discuss the construction (materials and quality) of the average Helix mattress, the Helix Midnight.
Cover – Initially, all Helix mattresses have exactly the same cover, made of 100 percent polyester. I found it to be thin and stretchy, allowing for some nice breathability. But, if you would like something more luxurious, you can opt to swap out the regular cover for the brand’s UltraCool one, which is composed of a phase change fabric to regulate temperature.
Comfort Layer – On top, you’ll encounter a thick layer of memory foam. This type of foam has a slow reaction to pressure, meaning you are probably going to experience some gratifying body shaping. Even though it may seem strange for a supposedly medium firm mattress to incorporate a memory foam layer, it is crucial to remember that the existence of deep sinkage doesn’t necessarily translate to softness; in fact, oftentimes it generates quite a firm feel.
Transition Layer – After getting past the memory foam comfort layer, you will uncover a transition layer of poly foam. This layer works to curb the sinkage of the comfort layer and set a supportive, medium firm feel as you hit the pocketed coils below.
Support Layer – The majority of the mattress consists of this section of pocketed coils. This system gives a supportive lift to the construction, working to position the sleeper “on top” of the bed, as opposed to “in it”. Since the coils are wrapped individually, they’re also going to encourage additional breathability as air flows through the spaces in the coils.
Base Layer – Last, you will find a thin section of high-density poly foam. This segment does not affect the feel of the bed too much, working mostly to provide the individually wrapped coils something off of which to react.
Firmness and Support
After taking a peek at the construction of the Helix mattresses, let’s discuss their different feels and firmness levels.
The firmness level of the Helix will differ widely depending on which version you pick out. The Helix Dusk and Midnight, have moderate firmness levels, which is going to be very versatile and thus very popular. If you have more specific preferences, however, Helix Sleep is happy to provide you with more options.
Laying down on the Midnight, the uppermost foam comfort layer is soft and generates some quality body contouring, while the rest of the materials within the Midnight work to control this and create an overall firmer composition. The individually-wrapped coils and the firmer support foams also assist with re-positioning.
For those who sleep on their back, there is enough good comfort material here to conform to your lumbar while supporting your whole upper spine in a neutral position. For heavier sleepers or people who prefer a firmer bed, there are 2 more choices for you in the Helix Dawn and Helix Twilight variants.
Most side sleepers will feel perfectly comfortable on the Midnight, however, if you are wanting a bit less pressure while still sticking with a versatile medium firmness, you may decide to check out the Helix Dusk, which uses a body-conforming latex-alternative foam that’s breathable and provides the surface a small bit of bounce.
Side sleepers typically have to be mindful of pressure because they sleep with most their weight on a tinier area. People who are lighter than average or people looking for plenty of pressure relief might want to stay with the plusher models.
Those who sleep on their stomach will feel comfortable in the Midnight, particularly if this is not their main position or they have a tendency to switch things up a lot. Firmer choices may be preferable for exclusive tummy sleepers so they can ensure their hips don’t dip and over-arch their back.
Last, Helix Sleep suggests Helix mattresses for sleepers up to 350 lbs or couples that weigh a maximum of 250 lbs each. If you or your spouse are substantially bigger than average, the company has also created a mattress called the Nightfall that’s built to accommodate a total weight of 1000 lbs.
Couples with different body types or tastes may also pick a dual comfort variant that pairs Firm with Plush.
Bear in mind that if none of those models feel quite right, you may always check out the four other mattresses in the newest collection: the Sunset (plush, softer compared to the Moonlight), Dusk (medium feel, a little firmer compared to the Midnight), Twilight (firm, designed for side sleepers), or Dawn (the firmest mattress in the collection).
Now, let’s chat about motion transfer, or the amount of activity that is noticeable from one side of the mattress to the other. While this is going to be important for many sleepers, those who sleep with a spouse may find it particularly intriguing as it will show just how bothered you will be by your bed mate’s nighttime movements. Helix Singapore
According to my research, Helix surpasses expectations for hybrids in this space due to the amount and quality of foam it incorporates, in addition to the pocketed coils that help keep motion at its source. If you are a light sleeper concerned that movement from the other side of the mattress will bother you, then you shouldn’t have much concern with this mattress. I would say that all of the Helix mattresses would be a good choice for couples.
When purchasing a new mattress, the majority of people would like to know whether they will feel like they’re sinking “into” the mattress or laying “on top” of it.
While you’re going to encounter a little immediate sinkage from the soft foam at the top, by the time you sink through those layers, you will reach the individually-wrapped coils and find great support. This combination will appeal to a wide assortment of sleepers, but will satisfy back and stomach sleepers the most.
While I do feel the memory foam compress as I sit near the edge of the mattress, the pocketed coils stop the mattress from compressing too much beyond that. I feel very secure seated on the bed.
In my opinion, Helix mattresses are well above average when it comes to edge support compared to other bed-in-a-box brands, and this is because of their newly updated edges that contain reinforcement in the coil system. There can be some compression in the comfort foams when you sit with all your weight on the side, but lying on the side will feel comfy and secure. Partners who need more space to stretch out typically appreciate strong edges.
Lying down, I also feel like I could get near the edge of the bed without feeling like I’ll fall over or be pushed off the mattress. Overall, I think the Helix has nice edge support.
100 Night Sleep Trial
Among the best features of purchasing a mattress-in-a-box online is the sleep trials they typically include. Helix Sleep is no different. You create the mattress that’s meant for you, place your order, and in a couple of weeks, it is delivered to your door. From the moment you click to purchase the mattress, you have 100 nights to test it out (minus the time for delivery, so it is more like 90 nights). If it isn’t perfect, you can return it for free, and get a complete refund.
Should you return the mattress, it isn’t restocked or resold. In fact, the company does its best to find a local place to donate it. If there is no way Helix can find a way to donate your refunded mattress, it is recycled instead. Helix Singapore
The Helix Mattress includes a generous 10-year warranty that covers defects, but it comes with limitations, exceptions, and the burden of proof is on the consumer (like most warranties). Needless to say, you must be the original owner of the Helix to use the guarantee, and you need to be sure you save your receipt as proof of purchase.
As long as you follow all Helix’s expectations for use, your warranty will be valid. That means you need to have a suitable foundation (no adjustable bed frames or slats more than 4 inches apart) and that you don’t use the mattress improperly – no jumping on the bed!
If your Helix begins to have an indentation of 1″ or more, which is what generally happens when low-density foams break down, then you could qualify for a repair or replacement of your Helix.

What’s The Best Way To Care For Your Helix?
Helix mattresses require no turning, but it’s suggested that you rotate the mattress perhaps a couple of times a year to prevent it from wearing down from excessive sagging.
For regular cleanup, it is advised to use cool water along gentle dish detergent to clean any stains or dirt. Make certain that you wash using soft circular movements, rather than rubbing.
