Helix Sleep offers hybrid mattresses made using polyfoam comfort systems, dual-layer covers, and pocketed coil support cores enhanced using polyfoam base layers. Helix Mattress Customer Service Number
Helix Sleep allows full mattress customization. Buyers are asked to fill out a questionnaire that discusses their height, weight, firmness preferences, sleep position, and other factors. Based on these results, Helix Sleep will recommend one of the following six mattress variants; each respective model offers a one-of-a-kind combination of firmness and support:
- Helix Sunset: ‘Soft’ firmness, targeted cushioning, and balanced support
- Helix Moonlight: ‘Soft’ firmness, moderate cushioning, and extra support
- Helix Midnight: ‘Medium’ firmness, targeted cushioning, and balanced support
- Helix Dusk: ‘Medium’ firmness, moderate cushioning, and extra support
- Helix Twilight: ‘Firm’ firmness, targeted cushioning, and balanced support
- Helix Dawn: ‘Firm’ firmness, moderate cushioning, and additional support
Helix Sleep hybrids with targeted cushioning conform closely, which makes them perfect for those who sleep on their side. While those that have moderate cushioning don’t conform as much and are great for all sleep positions. Lighter individuals may feel most comfy on models with balanced support, while people who weigh 130 lbs or more tend to favor the models with extra support.
Helix Sleep also offers 2 mattresses with dual-firmness, the Helix Dual Balanced (with balanced support and targeted cushioning) and the Helix Dual Extra (with additional support and moderate cushioning). Both of these variants have one ‘Soft’ side and one ‘Firm’ side, making them ideal for couples with different preferences. Last, the Helix Nightfall is a hybrid designed for larger, heavier individuals. This model has an extra layer of memory foam for optimum support.
My review of Helix Sleep mattresses found that the customizable aspect conforms to sleepers with a large variety of firmness preferences and body types. The mattresses also have strong edge support, isolate movement well, and produce less noise than the average hybrid. Helix Mattress Customer Service Number

Construction Helix Mattress Customer Service Number
All nine of the different iterations of the mattress will differ slightly in construction, but for 6 of the 9 variants, the construction will be rather similar. The 6 core models (listed above) are 10 inches tall, made up of 6 inches of pocketed coils and 4 inches of foam.
Helix mattresses vary in firmness and density depending upon the foams utilized in order to attain more/less firmness and more/less support. The 4 unique foams utilized within Helix mattresses are memory foam, high-grade polyurethane foam, Helix Dynamic Foam, and a DuraDense Foam (aka support foam). Not all the mattresses have all of the foams – some just have 3 of the 4 – but it really won’t matter much for the purchaser. The foams are merely levers that Helix Sleep can pull in order to offer nine different models (and supposedly have a model for everyone). Helix Mattress Customer Service Number
Underneath, I quickly talk about the construction (materials and quality) of the typical Helix mattress, the Helix Midnight.
Cover – Originally, all Helix mattresses come with the same cover, made of 100 percent polyester. I found it to be stretchy and thin, allowing for some wonderful breathability. However, if you prefer something more lavish, you can choose to swap out the regular cover for the UltraCool one, which is made up of a phase change fabric to regulate temperature.
Comfort Layer – On top, you’ll encounter a heavy layer of memory foam. This material has a slow reaction to pressure, which means you are likely to encounter some gratifying body shaping. Even though it may seem odd for a purportedly medium firm bed to incorporate a memory foam layer, it is important to remember that the presence of deep sinkage doesn’t necessarily translate to softness; in fact, most of the time it generates quite a firm feel.
Transition Layer – After getting past the memory foam comfort layer, you’ll uncover a transition layer of poly foam. This layer of foam works to curb the sinkage of the memory foam and set a supportive, medium firm feel as you reach the pocketed coils below.
Support Layer – The majority of the mattress consists of this section of pocketed coils. This system gives a supportive lift into the construction, working to put the sleeper “on top” of the bed, as opposed to “in it”. Because these coils are individually wrapped, they are also going to allow additional breathability as air flows in between the spaces in the coils.
Base Layer – Last but not least, you will discover a thin section of high-density poly foam. This segment does not really affect the feel of the bed too much, working mostly to give the pocketed coils something off of which to respond.
Firmness and Support
After taking a peek at the construction of the Helix mattresses, let us chat about their different firmness levels and feels.
The firmness of the Helix will differ widely depending on the variant you choose. The Helix Dusk and Midnight, have medium firmness levels, which tends to be very versatile and thus very popular. If you have more specific preferences, however, Helix Sleep will be happy to provide you with more choices.
Laying down on the Midnight, the uppermost foam comfort layer is soft and generates some quality body shaping, while the rest of the materials in the mattress work to control this and make an overall firmer structure. The firmer support foams and pocketed coils also assist with re-positioning.
For those who sleep on their back, there’s just enough good comfort material here to conform to your lower spine while supporting your upper spine in a neutral position. For larger buyers or those who prefer a firmer bed, there are 2 more models for you in the Helix Dawn and Helix Twilight variants.
Many side sleepers will feel perfectly comfortable on the Midnight, however, if you’re wanting less pressure while still going with a flexible medium firmness, you might want to check out the Helix Dusk, which uses a body-conforming latex-alternative foam that’s breathable and gives the surface a small bit of bounce.
Side sleepers typically have to be mindful of pressure since they sleep with most of their weight on a smaller region. Those who are lighter than average or people looking for plenty of pressure relief might want to stay with the plusher variants.
Those who sleep on their stomach will feel supported in the Midnight, particularly if this is not their main position or they tend to change things up a lot. Firmer choices might be preferable for exclusive stomach sleepers so that they can ensure their hips don’t dip and over-arch their back.
Last, the manufacturer suggests Helix for sleepers around 350 pounds or partners that weigh a maximum of 250 lbs each. In the event you or your spouse are substantially bigger than average, Helix has also created a mattress called the Nightfall that is made to accommodate a combined weight of 1000 pounds.
Partners with different types of bodies or tastes can also select a dual comfort variant that pairs Firm with Plush.
Keep in mind that if none of those options sound quite right, you can always check out the 4 other models in the newest collection: the Sunset (plush, softer than the Moonlight), Dusk (moderate feel, slightly firmer compared to the Midnight), Twilight (firm, designed for side sleepers), or Dawn (the firmest option in the collection).
Now, let’s talk about motion transfer, or the amount of activity that is noticeable from 1 side of the mattress to the other. While this will be significant for all sleepers, those who sleep with a spouse may find it particularly intriguing as it’ll illuminate just how bothered you may be by your partner’s nighttime movements. According to my research, Helix Sleep surpasses expectations for hybrid mattresses in this space due to the quantity and quality of foam it contains, in addition to the pocketed coils that help keep motion at its source. If you are a light sleeper concerned that motion from the opposite side of the bed will bother you, you should not have a lot of concern with this hybrid. I’d say that any of the Helix mattresses are a good choice for couples.
When buying a new mattress, the majority of individuals want to know whether they will feel like they’re sinking “into” the it or laying “on top” of it.
While you may experience some immediate sinkage in the uppermost foam layers, when you sink through those layers, you’ll reach the individually-wrapped coils and find amazing support. This combo will appeal to a vast assortment of sleepers, but will suit stomach and back sleepers the most.
Though I do feel the foam collapse as I sit near the edge of the mattress, the pocketed coils prevent the mattress from collapsing a lot beyond that. I feel quite secured sitting on the bed.
In my opinion, Helix mattresses perform above average when it comes to edge support in comparison to other bed-in-a-box brands, which is due to their freshly updated edges containing reinforcement in the coil system. There can be a little compression at the comfort foams when you sit with your entire weight on the side, but laying on the side will feel comfortable and safe. Couples who want more space to stretch out normally love stronger edges.
Laying down, I feel like I can get close to the edge of the bed without feeling like I will fall off or be ejected from the bed. Overall, I think the Helix mattress has nice edge support.
100 Night Sleep Trial
One of the best features of purchasing a mattress-in-a-box online is the sleep trials that they typically come with. Helix is not any different. You create the mattress that is intended for you, place your order, and within two weeks, it’s sent to your home. From the minute you click to buy the mattress, you have 100 nights to try it out (minus the time for delivery, so it is more like 90 nights). If it isn’t what you wanted, you can return it for free of charge, and get a complete refund.
Should you return the mattress, it isn’t resold or restocked. In fact, Helix does its best to find a local place to donate it. If there’s no way Helix Sleep can find a way to donate your refunded mattress, it is recycled instead. Helix Mattress Customer Service Number
The Helix Mattress includes a generous 10-year warranty that covers flaws, but it comes with limitations, exceptions, while the burden of proof is on the consumer (like most warranties). Needless to say, you should be the original owner of the mattress to use the guarantee, and you need to be sure that you save your receipt as proof of purchase.
Provided that you follow all of Helix’s expectations for use, your warranty should be valid. That means you will need to have a suitable foundation (no adjustable bed frames or slats more than 4″ apart) and you don’t use the mattress improperly – no jumping on the bed!
If your Helix begins to have an indentation of 1 inch or longer, something that usually happens when low-density foams break down, you could qualify for a repair or replacement of your mattress.

What’s The Best Way To Care For Your Helix?
Helix mattresses need no flipping, but it is suggested that you rotate the mattress possibly a couple of times a year to keep it from wearing down from excessive sagging.
For routine cleanup, it’s suggested to use cold water along gentle dish soap to clean any dirt or stains. Be sure to clean using soft circular motions, instead of rubbing.
