Helix Sleep markets hybrid mattresses made using dual-layer covers, polyfoam comfort systems, and pocketed coil support cores reinforced with polyfoam base layers. Helix Mattress Contact Number
Helix Sleep allows full mattress customization. Purchasers are asked to complete a questionnaire that asks for their weight, height, firmness preferences, sleep position, and other elements. Then based on these answers, Helix Sleep will suggest one of the following 6 mattress variants; each individual model provides a unique combination of support and firmness:
- Helix Sunset: ‘Soft’ firmness, targeted cushioning, and balanced support
- Helix Moonlight: ‘Soft’ firmness, moderate cushioning, and additional support
- Helix Midnight: ‘Medium’ firmness, targeted cushioning, and balanced support
- Helix Dusk: ‘Medium’ firmness, moderate cushioning, and extra support
- Helix Twilight: ‘Firm’ firmness, targeted cushioning, and balanced support
- Helix Dawn: ‘Firm’ firmness, moderate cushioning, and additional support
Helix Sleep hybrids that have targeted cushioning conform closely, making them perfect for those who sleep on their side. While those that have moderate cushioning do not conform as much and are ideal for pretty much all sleep positions. Lighter people may feel most comfortable on variants with balanced support, while individuals who weigh 130 pounds or more often prefer the variants with extra support.
Helix Sleep also markets 2 variants with dual-firmness, the Helix Dual Balanced (with balanced support and targeted cushioning) and the Helix Dual Extra (with extra support and moderate cushioning). Both of these models have one ‘Firm’ side and one ‘Soft’ side, which makes them ideal for couples with differing tastes. Last, the Helix Nightfall is a hybrid designed for bigger, heavier individuals. This model has an extra layer of memory foam for optimum support.
My review of Helix Sleep mattresses found that the customizable selection conforms to sleepers with a wide assortment of body types and firmness preferences. The mattresses also offer strong edge support, isolate movement nicely, and create less noise than the normal hybrid. Helix Mattress Contact Number

Construction Helix Mattress Contact Number
All nine of the various iterations of this mattress will differ slightly in construction, but for 6 of the 9 models, the construction should be quite similar. The six core models (listed above) are 10 inches tall, made up of 6 inches of pocketed coils and 4 inches of foam.
Helix mattresses vary in firmness and density based upon the foams used in order to get more/less support and more/less firmness. The 4 unique foams utilized within Helix mattresses are memory foam, high-grade polyurethane foam, Helix Dynamic Foam, and a DuraDense Foam (aka support foam). Not all of the models have all of the foams – some just have three of the four – but it really shouldn’t matter much for the purchaser. The foams are merely levers that Helix Sleep can pull in order to offer nine different variants (and supposedly have a model for everyone). Helix Mattress Contact Number
Underneath, I concisely discuss the construction (materials and quality) of the typical Helix mattress, the Helix Midnight.
Cover – Originally, all Helix mattresses have exactly the same cover, made of 100 percent polyester. I found it to be stretchy and thin, allowing for some great breathability. However, if you prefer something more luxurious, you can elect to swap out the standard cover for the UltraCool one, which is made up of a phase change material to regulate heat.
Comfort Layer – Up top, you will discover a heavy layer of memory foam. This material has a slow response to pressure, meaning you are probably going to experience some great body contouring. Even though it may seem strange for a supposedly medium firm bed to feature a memory foam layer, it’s crucial to remember that the feeling of deep sinkage doesn’t necessarily translate to softness; in fact, most of the time it generates quite a firm feeling.
Transition Layer – After sinking through the memory foam comfort layer, you will uncover a transition layer of poly foam. This layer works to curb the sinkage of the comfort layer and create a supportive, medium firm feeling as you hit the pocketed coils underneath.
Support Layer – Most of the mattress is made up of this segment of individually wrapped coils. This system brings a supportive lift into the construction, working to position the sleeper “on top” of the bed, instead of “in it”. Because these coils are individually wrapped, they’re also going to give extra breathability as air flows in between the spaces in the coils.
Base Layer – Last, you will uncover a thin section of high-density poly foam. This section does not really affect the feel of the bed too much, working mostly to give the individually wrapped coils something off of which to respond.
Firmness and Support
After having a peek at the construction of the Helix mattresses, let us chat about their varying feels and firmness levels.
The firmness of the Helix will differ widely depending on the version you pick out. The Helix Midnight and Dusk, have moderate firmness levels, which tends to be quite versatile and therefore best-selling. If you have more specific preferences, however, Helix Sleep would be happy to oblige you with additional options.
Laying down on the Helix Midnight, the memory foam layer is soft and generates some top quality body contouring, while the other materials within the Midnight work to control this and make an overall firmer composition. The firmer support foams and pocketed coils also help with re-positioning.
For back sleepers, there is enough good comfort material in the mattress to conform to your lumbar while supporting your whole back in a neutral position. For larger sleepers or those who want a firmer bed, there are two more choices for you in the Helix Dawn and Helix Twilight models.
Majority of side sleepers will feel perfectly comfortable on the Midnight, however, if you are wanting less pressure while still sticking with a versatile medium firmness, you may want to take a look at the Helix Dusk, which utilizes a body-conforming latex-alternative foam that is breathable and provides the surface a little bit of bounce.
Those who sleep on their side typically have to be more mindful of pressure because they sleep with all their weight on a tinier area. People who are smaller than average or people looking for plenty of pressure relief might want to stick to the plusher models.
Those who sleep on their stomach should feel supported in the Midnight, especially if this isn’t their primary position or they have a tendency to change things up a lot. Firmer mattresses may be preferable for exclusive stomach sleepers so they can make sure their hips do not dip and over-arch their backbone.
Lastly, the manufacturer recommends Helix mattresses for sleepers up to 350 pounds or partners who weigh up to 250 pounds each. In the event you or your spouse are significantly larger than average, Helix has also produced a mattress called the Nightfall that’s built to accommodate a total weight of 1000 pounds.
Couples with different body types or tastes may also pick a dual comfort model that pairs Firm with Plush.
Keep in mind that if none of those options sound right, you can always check out the 4 other models in the new collection: the Sunset (plush, softer than the Moonlight), Dusk (medium feel, a little firmer than the Midnight), Twilight (firm, designed for side sleepers), or Dawn (the firmest variant of the bunch).
Now, let us talk about motion transfer, or the amount of disturbance that is noticeable from one side of the bed to the other. While this will be crucial for many buyers, those who doze with a partner may find it especially interesting as it’ll show just how bothered you may be by your partner’s nighttime movements. Based on my observation, Helix surpasses expectations for hybrid mattresses in this space due to the quantity and quality of foam it contains, as well as the individually wrapped coils which help keep motion at its source. If you are a light sleeper concerned that movement from the opposite side of the mattress will bother you, you shouldn’t have a lot of concern with this mattress. I’d say that all of the Helix mattresses are a good option for couples.
While buying a brand-new mattress, most people wish to know whether they’ll feel as though they are sinking “into” the it or lying “on top” of it.
Even though you may experience some immediate sinkage from the uppermost foam layers, by the time you sink through these layers, you will hit the individually-wrapped coils and experience great support. This combo will interest a vast assortment of individuals, but will suit back and stomach sleepers in particular.
Though I do feel the memory foam collapse as I sit near the edge of the Helix Midnight, the pocketed coils prevent the mattress from compressing a lot beyond that. I feel very secured seated on the mattress.
In my view, Helix mattresses are well above average when it comes to edge support in comparison to other bed-in-a-box brands, which is because of their newly updated edges containing reinforcement in the coil system. There may be some compression in the comfort foams when you sit with all your weight on the side, but lying on the side should feel comfortable and safe. Couples who need more space to stretch out normally love strong edges.
Lying down, I feel like I can get close to the edge of the mattress without feeling like I will fall off or be ejected from the bed. Overall, I believe the Helix mattress has great edge support.
100 Night Sleep Trial
One of the best features of purchasing a mattress-in-a-box online is the sleep trials that they typically include. Helix is no different. You create the mattress that’s meant for you, place your order, and within 2 weeks, it is delivered to your home. From the minute you click to buy the mattress, you’ve got 100 nights to test it out (minus the time for delivery, so it’s more like 90 nights). If it is not ideal, you can return it free of charge, and get a complete refund.
If you do return the mattress, it isn’t resold or restocked. Actually, Helix finds a local place to donate it. If there is no way Helix Sleep can find a way to donate your returned mattress, it’s recycled instead. Helix Mattress Contact Number
The Helix Mattress includes an awesome 10-year warranty that covers flaws, but it comes with some limitations, exceptions, plus the burden of proof is on the customer (like most warranties). Needless to say, you must be the original owner of the Helix to make use of the guarantee, and you need to be sure you save your receipt as proof of purchase.
As long as you follow all the manufacturer’s expectations for use, your warranty is valid. That means you will need to have a suitable base (no adjustable bed frames or slats over 4″ apart) and you don’t use the mattress improperly – no jumping on it!
If your mattress starts to show an indentation of 1″ or more, something that typically happens when low-density foams break down, you could be eligible for a replacement or repair of your Helix.

What’s The Best Way To Care For Your Helix?
Helix mattresses need no turning, but it is recommended that you rotate the mattress perhaps once or twice a year to prevent it from wearing down from excessive sagging.
For routine cleaning, it is suggested to use cold water along gentle dish soap to clean any dirt or stains. Be sure to wash using gentle circular motions, instead of rubbing.
