Helix Sleep offers hybrid mattresses manufactured with dual-layer covers, polyfoam comfort systems, and pocketed coil support cores enhanced with polyfoam base layers. Carnival Helix 9 Spa Menu
Helix Sleep allows full mattress customization. Customers are asked to fill out a questionnaire that asks for their weight, height, sleep position, firmness preferences, and other elements. Based on these results, Helix Sleep will recommend one of the following six mattress variants; each respective option offers a one-of-a-kind combination of firmness and support:
- Helix Sunset: ‘Soft’ firmness, targeted cushioning, and balanced support
- Helix Moonlight: ‘Soft’ firmness, moderate cushioning, and additional support
- Helix Midnight: ‘Medium’ firmness, targeted cushioning, and balanced support
- Helix Dusk: ‘Medium’ firmness, moderate cushioning, and extra support
- Helix Twilight: ‘Firm’ firmness, targeted cushioning, and balanced support
- Helix Dawn: ‘Firm’ firmness, moderate cushioning, and extra support
Helix Sleep hybrids that have targeted cushioning conform closely, which makes them optimal for side sleepers. While hybrids with moderate cushioning do not conform as much and are ideal for pretty much all sleep positions. Lighter men and women may feel most comfy on models with balanced support, while individuals who weigh 130 lbs or more often favor the models with extra support.
Helix Sleep also offers 2 variants with dual-firmness, the Helix Dual Balanced (with balanced support and targeted cushioning) and the Helix Dual Extra (with moderate cushioning and extra support). Both these mattresses have one ‘Soft’ side and one ‘Firm’ side, making them suitable for couples with differing tastes. Lastly, the Helix Nightfall is a hybrid designed for bigger, heavier individuals. This model has an additional layer of memory foam for maximum support.
My review of Helix Sleep mattresses discovered that the customizable aspect accommodates sleepers with a large range of firmness preferences and body types. The mattresses also offer strong edge support, isolate movement well, and create less noise than the average hybrid. Carnival Helix 9 Spa Menu

Construction Carnival Helix 9 Spa Menu
All 9 of the various iterations of the mattress will differ slightly in construction, but for 6 of the 9 models, the construction should be rather similar. The 6 core models (listed above) are 10 inches tall, made up of 6 inches of pocketed coils and 4 inches of foam.
Helix mattresses vary in density and firmness depending on the foams used in order to attain more/less firmness and more/less support. The 4 different foams utilized within Helix mattresses are memory foam, high-grade polyurethane foam, Helix Dynamic Foam, and a DuraDense Foam (aka support foam). Not all the mattresses have all of the foams – some just have 3 of the 4 – but it really won’t matter much for the buyer. The foams are just levers that Helix Sleep can pull in order to offer nine unique models (and hopefully have a mattress for everybody). Carnival Helix 9 Spa Menu
Below, I briefly discuss the construction (materials and quality) of your average Helix mattress, the Helix Midnight.
Cover – Originally, all Helix mattresses have exactly the same cover, made of 100% polyester. I thought it to be thin and stretchy, allowing for some wonderful breathability. However, if you prefer something more luxurious, you can choose to swap out the standard cover for the UltraCool one, which is made up of a phase change fabric for heat regulation.
Comfort Layer – On top, you’ll find a heavy layer of memory foam. This material has a slow response to pressure, meaning you are likely to experience some gratifying body shaping. Even though it may seem odd for a supposedly medium firm mattress to feature a memory foam comfort layer, it is crucial to remember that the presence of deep sinkage does not necessarily translate to softness; in actuality, most of the time it gives quite a firm feeling.
Transition Layer – After sinking through the memory foam comfort layer, you will uncover a transition layer of poly foam. This layer works to curb the sinkage of the memory foam and establish a supportive, medium firm feel as you reach the individually wrapped coils underneath.
Support Layer – The bulk of the mattress is made up of this segment of individually wrapped coils. This system gives a supportive lift into the construction, working to position the sleeper “on top” of the bed, instead of “in it”. Because these coils are individually wrapped, they are also going to encourage additional breathability as air flows in between the spaces in the coils.
Base Layer – Last, you will discover a thin section of high-density poly foam. This layer doesn’t really affect the feel of the bed too much, functioning mostly to give the individually wrapped coils something off of which to react.
Firmness and Support
After having a peek at the construction of the Helix mattresses, let us discuss their varying firmness levels and feels.
The firmness of the Helix is going to differ widely depending on which variant you pick out. The Helix Midnight and Dusk, have medium firmness levels, which will be quite versatile and thus best-selling. If you have more specific requirements, however, Helix Sleep would be happy to provide you with more options.
Lying down on the Midnight, the uppermost foam comfort layer is soft and produces some top quality body contouring, while the other materials within the mattress work to control this and make an overall firmer composition. The firmer support foams and individually-wrapped coils also assist with re-positioning.
For those who sleep on their back, there is enough good comfort material here to conform to your lumbar while supporting your whole back in a neutral position. For larger buyers or those who want a firmer bed, there are two more models for you in the Helix Dawn and Helix Twilight models.
Majority of side sleepers should feel totally comfy on the Midnight, however, if you’re wanting a bit less pressure while still sticking with a flexible medium firmness, you might decide to check out the Helix Dusk, which utilizes a body-conforming latex-alternative foam that’s breathable and gives the surface a little bit of bounce.
Side sleepers typically have to be more mindful of pressure since they sleep with all their weight on a smaller area. People who are lighter than average or those in the market for plenty of pressure relief might want to stick to the plusher models.
Those who sleep on their stomach will feel comfortable in the Midnight, particularly if this isn’t their primary position or they have a tendency to change things up a lot. Firmer choices might be preferable for exclusive stomach sleepers so they can ensure their hips don’t dip and over-arch their backbone.
Last, Helix Sleep recommends Helix for sleepers up to 350 pounds or partners that weigh up to 250 lbs each. If you or your spouse are substantially larger than average, Helix has also produced a bed called the Nightfall that is made to accommodate a total weight of 1000 lbs.
Partners with differing body types or preferences can also select a dual comfort variant that pairs Firm with Plush.
Keep in mind that if none of those models feel right, you may always check out the 4 other mattresses in the new collection: the Sunset (plush, softer than the Moonlight), Dusk (moderate feel, a little firmer compared to the Midnight), Twilight (firm, made for side sleepers), or Dawn (the firmest option of the bunch).
Next up, let’s chat about motion transfer, or the amount of disturbance that’s detectable from one side of the bed to the other. While this will be significant for many sleepers, those who doze with a spouse may find it especially interesting as it’ll show just how bothered you will be by your bed mate’s nighttime movements. According to my research, Helix exceeds expectations for hybrids in this space because of the amount and quality of foam it incorporates, in addition to the pocketed coils which help keep motion at its source. If you are a light sleeper worried that motion from the opposite side of the mattress will bother you, then you should not have much concern with this mattress. I would say that all of the Helix mattresses would be a good option for couples.
When getting a brand-new mattress, most men and women want to know whether they will feel as though they’re sinking “into” the mattress or lying “on top” of it.
Even though you may encounter some immediate sinkage from the uppermost foam layers, by the time you sink through those layers, you’ll reach the individually-wrapped coils and feel great support. This combo will interest a wide assortment of sleepers, but will suit stomach and back sleepers in particular.
While I do feel the memory foam compress as I sit near the edge of the Helix Midnight, the pocketed coils stop the mattress from collapsing a lot beyond that. I feel quite secured seated on the mattress.
In my view, Helix mattresses perform above average for edge support in comparison to other bed-in-a-box brands, and this is because of their freshly updated edges containing reinforcement in the coil system. There can be a little compression in the comfort foams when you sit with all your weight on the side, but laying on the side will feel comfy and secure. Partners who want more space to stretch out normally love strong edges.
Lying down, I also feel like I can get near the edge of the mattress without feeling like I will fall off or be pushed off the bed. Overall, I think that the Helix has nice edge support.
100 Night Sleep Trial
One of the best features of purchasing a bed-in-a-box online is the sleep trials that they typically come with. Helix is no different. You customize the mattress that’s made for you, place your order, and in 2 weeks, it is sent to your home. From the moment you click to purchase the mattress, you have 100 nights to try it out (minus the time for delivery, so it is more like 90 nights). If it is not ideal, you can return it free of charge, and get a complete refund.
Should you return the mattress, it is not resold or restocked. Actually, the company does its best to locate a local place to donate it. When there’s no way Helix Sleep can find a way to donate your refunded mattress, it’s recycled instead. Carnival Helix 9 Spa Menu
The Helix Mattress includes a generous 10-year warranty that covers defects, but it comes with some limitations, exceptions, and the burden of proof is on the customer (like most warranties). Of course, you must be the original owner of the Helix to make use of the guarantee, and you will need to be sure that you keep your receipt as proof of purchase.
Provided that you follow all of Helix’s expectations for use, your warranty is valid. That means you need to have a suitable foundation (no adjustable bed frames or slats more than 4″ apart) and you don’t use the mattress improperly – no jumping on the bed!
If your Helix begins to have an indentation of 1 inch or more, which is what generally happens when low-density foams break down, you could qualify for a replacement or repair of your mattress.

What’s The Best Way To Care For Your Helix?
Helix mattresses need no flipping, but it is suggested that you rotate the mattress possibly once or twice a year to prevent it from wearing down from excess sagging.
For routine cleaning, it’s suggested to use cold water with gentle dish detergent to clean any dirt or stains. Be certain to clean using gentle circular motions, instead of rubbing.
Final Thoughts Carnival Helix 9 Spa Menu
If you’re shopping for a mattress and aren’t quite sure what feel that you need, Helix’s quiz and Color Match system may be the key to finding your best sleep with no hassle. Their state-of-the-art system, which is based on expert opinions and artificial intelligence, was designed to improve their client’s sleep by offering a better match. Carnival Helix 9 Spa Menu
The attributes of the Helix were thoughtfully constructed to provide options whether you were searching for a mattress that stays cool all night, if you wanted one to support your curves with a thick comfort system, or both! The pocketed coil unit should offer great edge support and motion transfer is minimal with their individually-wrapped build.
Hopefully, I have given you some notion of what the average customer can expect from the Helix, but it truly does offer an impressive range of customization with a choice for literally every specific desire or need. Your next best sleep may just be a brief online quiz away.
